The Company met this week with the UFCW Local 3000 and Teamsters Local 38 bargaining committees to negotiate new contracts for QFC grocery and meat associates in the Puget Sound area.

The bargaining committees discussed a number of key topics related to negotiating new contracts. Discussions also covered sharing ideas on staffing and safety.

The bargaining committees are scheduled to resume their talks on March 5 and 6.
Bargaining is a Process
The bargaining process is about discussing ideas, finding areas of compromise, and coming to a solution that is both good for our associates and keeps groceries affordable. It is important to note this thoughtful work is a necessary part of the process. It can take time to reach an agreement.
