We understand the unions have received strike authorization from bargaining unit members attending and voting at union meetings.
What this Means
We want to be sure you know what this means – it does not mean there will be a strike. It means the union is free to call a strike at any time if they choose. At this point, the union has not called for a work stoppage. We hope they don’t.
Our goal, as always, is to reach a balanced agreement that provides a solid compensation package of wages and benefits for our associates and keeps groceries affordable, too.
Next Steps
We will keep you informed as we have more information to share. We will post updates on www.QFCCBA.com or provide handouts through your store leader.
If you have any questions, talk to your store leader for answers. If they do not know, they will find out and follow up. Send your questions to [email protected] and we will cover them in an upcoming update.
Thank you for all that you do to support and uplift our customers, our communities, and each other.
